00115 - 2 Para,  The 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment is a British Army infantry unit that specializes in airborne operations. Since then, 2 PARA has been involved in numerous conflicts, including the Falklands War, the Gulf War, and the recent operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Today, 2 PARA is based in Colchester, England and is part of the 16th Air Assault Brigade, which is the British Army's airborne rapid reaction force.
